BHADERWAH,DEC 03 (KNO) : ember Legislative Council Naresh Kumar Gupta who is also district president Doda Congress Committee strongly criticized and condemned the un-ethical attitude of Nayeem Akhtar Minister for PWD ( R&B ) while visiting the Doda and Bhadewrah constituency , Who at the directions of some tainted leaders completely ignored the local Legislatures of opposition, who were not informed about the visit of the Minister in their areas intentionally. In a press statement issued here Congress MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta alleged that in the entire Doda District, some BJP leaders have hijacked the entire PWD, divisions of Doda, Bhadarwah, special sub Division Gandoh, almost more than 90%works in the Works sectors are being executed by the BJP MLA, s directly and indirectly both roads and buildings including Batote Kishtwar National High Way and schools buildings . Gupta alleged they are looting the state exchequer, but Minister is seems to be silent, he said alleging that they are allowed to enjoy the booty and the reasons best known to Nayeem Akhtar .MLC further alleged that sub standard work is being executed and alignments are being changed by these BJP/ PDP representatives of the sanctioned projects with close nexus of PWD,/PMGSY which is serious matter and invite registration of cases . Minister PWD, who claims himself to be very transparent man, should come with a white paper about the workings of PWD, especially in Doda Kishtwar Districts since this combined BJP / PDP government has come in to force . No new work is on ground. Only old works are being projected as their achievements, MLC claimed . Naresh Gupta said that large number of protests and demonstrations made by the public during the tour of Minister PWD should be an eye opener for Nayeem Akhtar that how the system is moving. Complete angerness was visible. Non payments to other contractors raises question mark. Only BJP and PDP leaders enjoying, he alleged . All roads viz-a- viz- main, link. and internal in the entire region are in dilapidated conditions, less than 10 km of roads have been black topped in the last three years. Entire money is spent on the removing of slips by pressing the men and machinery of some leaders of rulling party . MLC demanded immediate action and white paper about the workings of the PWD in Doda and Kishtwar districts.(KNO)
